Wikia & Votion

Wikia is the largest entertainment site in the world with over 190 million monthly visitors. In 2015 they came to Votion looking to monetize their massive reach by leveraging the Votion product suite for both editorial and direct sales campaigns. 

Wikia to date has run over 50 Votion brackets, polls, matchups and stackups in 10 languages and has driven millions of engagements and captured tens of thousands emails. 



Square Enix Deus Ex

Square Enix needed a way to introduce the game Deus Ex Mankind Divided to fans of the video game series & attract new players. Using Votion’s Interactive Bracket product, Wikia built a fully branded campaign that introduced the new heroes and their fantastic abilities.

With Votion's bracketing platform, Wikia's massive reach and high impact ad units along and active social media efforts users were driven to the landing page without issue.




This campaign resulted in users spending over 5 minutes on average on the site with an 83% voting CTR!

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutants in Manhattan Movie Promo

To celebrate the upcoming release of "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutants in Manhattan", Wikia created a bracket tournament featuring the iconic characters of the Turtles franchise and several other loveable, 90's Nickelodeon characters. They included characters from Rugrats, Angry Beavers, The Wild Thornbery's and more.




Round after Round, users voted for their favorite character until the one with most votes was crowned the champion.




In the end, users visited the campaign page an average of 5 times and spent over 4 minutes and 30 seconds per visit.

Game of Thrones Japanese Campaign

Wikia, to date, has leveraged the Votion Internationalization options to create custom sponsored campaigns in over 10 languages. One of these was a Japanese collaboration with HBO featuring the popular drama, "Game of Thrones".
